Wasted Dreams
One question to achieve more, a product to help you drift off to sleep, a sustainable process to achieve your dreams, how I listen to audiobooks for free and the biggest wildlife party ever.
Hello Folks!
Welcome to the latest edition of Brain Tickles.
Question I am Pondering
Sleep Helper
CBD Oil
I've always had trouble sleeping, even as a kid. I remember I used to stay up late, watching TV or reading a book. The next morning I usually would wake up early, before the alarm went off. I'd turn on the TV, keeping the volume low so my parents wouldn't notice.
25 years later, I still face the same issue. But now I have tools to help me sleep.
Lately, I've been taking CBD oil and it has been a game-changer during my periods of insomnia. I got my prescription from the local island hospital. Just two drops before bed is enough to make me relax and drift off to sleep.
Climbing your Mountain to Get Your Dreams
“A New Year, Renewed Dreams - Transform resolutions into reality with sustainable systems”
In this article, Eddie Freeman explains how he sets goals and establishes sustainable systems to achieve his dreams. I enjoyed his analogy of climbing a mountain:
For some of the largest mountains in the world, such as Mount Everest, those attempting to summit them have found setting up camps along the way an effective method to sustainably summit. Each camp represents a milestone I’ll reach where I can pause, reflect, resupply, and celebrate the accomplishments made so far.
Listening to Audiobooks While Doing Chores
I love listening to audiobooks while doing chores around the house. I can't pay for an Audible subscription, so I had to look for alternatives.
I use the free Epub Pup extension for Edge. It leverages the browser's 'read aloud' feature, which has a surprisingly human-like voice. Just open up any epub file, right-click where you want to start reading, and click "Read aloud from here."
My most recent listen is $100M Leads by Alex Hormozi. It's quite funny when the reader gets to non-text elements like tables because it gets so confused. It always gives me a laugh.
Drunk Animals
Did you know that animals in Africa get wasted for two whole months every year?! I sure didn't.
Check out this video to see some hilarious footage showing drunk animals in the wild.
It's fascinating to see how natural rivals like lions and zebras seem to peacefully coexist during this period. Truly amazing.
I'd love your feedback!

Eddie’s mountain analogy is brilliant
Omg! I didn't know about the intoxicated African wildlife. 🦁🤯 They're just a bunch of party animals.😏
Funny enough, I'm going to see the Lion King production next week and will now see it in a whole new perspective! 😂
